In 2023, the Young Diversity Ambassadors first formed to give pupils at SMA the much-desired opportunity to play a bigger role in promoting and supporting DEI events. The YDA’s have completed the Lewisham Diversity and Inclusion team’s racial literacy course. The Young Diversity Ambassadors also pitch and help organise their own events for DEI according to their own interests and engagement with local and global issues.
