Deaf Awareness Week at SMA is celebrated long before the week itself. A song is chosen and each line is split up across every form in the whole school and practised in British Sign Language. Classes then record their line and everything is edited together and put online to illustrate SMA’s support of the deaf and hard of hearing community.
