Welcome to our new Year 7s and their families!
It is our priority to ensure that every child’s transition from primary to secondary education is positive and exciting. This is why we have developed a unique transition programme which starts the moment you are offered a place at our school.
Starting at secondary school is a momentous step and whilst it is filled with great enthusiasm – the prospect of new friends and new subjects, we understand that many may feel nervous.
Our highly regarded programme incorporates a range of events and activities, fulfilling our promise that pupils will meet their new teachers, familiarise themselves with their learning environment and begin building friendships as soon as possible. This means that when September arrives every pupil is confident and prepared. Read on and see the attached 'Transitions Event Timetable' to find out more about what’s to come.
