Feedback is the breakfast of champions! Educational research consistently shows that quality feedback is one of the most effective strategies for boosting the progress of pupils. Now more than ever, receiving and using good feedback is really important to our pupils’ learning.

In our secondary phase subjects, our pupils continue to receive great quality feedback from their teachers to push them forward and show that they are eager to respond. Their feedback comes in many different forms:

· Marking against success criteria

· Detailed written WWW (what went well), EBI (even better if) and GPC (green pen challenge)

· Written feedback on their ranking exams

· Continuous verbal feedback on the work that they do in class
