Exam Results
Congratulations to our amazing pupils – the Class of 2024
On August 22nd we were super proud to welcome the Year 11 Class of 24 to collect their long awaited GCSE results. The main hall was filled with excitement as they opened their envelopes to see the fruits of their labour. We are delighted to announce in English and maths 73% of pupils achieved Grade 9-4 in both of these subjects and 56% of pupils achieved Grade 9-5 – this is expected to be well above national averages. Early indicators show that our progress score will once again be significantly positive – pupils on average gaining over half a grade more per GCSE than would be expected. Congratulations to every pupil for their hard work, grit and resolve.
Miranda Baldwin, the Academy Headteacher said: “Our Year 11 pupils have excelled this year as we knew they would, achieving the best ever set of GCSE results at the Academy , and we could not be prouder of their accomplishments. It is testimony to the determined and resilient approach to their studies and the first class guidance and support provided by our dedicated staff. These results not only reflect the hard work and dedication of our pupils but also highlight the care and encouragement they have received from their families and the school community. We celebrate these achievements as witness to our commitment to academic excellence, and we look forward to keeping in touch with these talented individuals as they embark on the next steps in their educational journey.
