5W very much enjoyed PHSE day. They covered many topics but particularly the many aspects of bullying, empathy and kindness. The day was split up into a range of discussions, videos and small workshops. The children were very much engaged and the standard of work produced throughout the day was fantastic. 

Primary Science Lessons

This week during Science lessons, Year 5 have been carrying out experiments on different aspects of air and wind resistance. One of the experiments involved making parachutes and predicting whether changing the variable (in this case the size of the parachute) would decrease or increase the acceleration of the landing. 

It's been a very productive and enjoyable week!
