Light Bearers Deliver Generous Donations to Lewisham Food Bank

Our pupil Light Bearers recently paid a visit to Lewisham Food Bank to hand-deliver the incredible volume of donations collected by our school community throughout October.

We are immensely proud of every student, family, and staff member who contributed to this initiative, helping to ensure that local individuals and families receive vital support when they need it most.

Behind the Scenes at the Food Bank

During their visit, the Light Bearers were taken on an insightful tour of the food bank warehouse. They gained a firsthand understanding of the charity's daily operations, learning about the crucial steps required to sort, organize, and distribute thousands of items efficiently to those in need across the borough.

Competition Winners Announced! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our competitive drive winners, who collected the highest number of items:

Thank You for Your Support

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our entire St Matthew Academy family for your overwhelming kindness and generosity. Your contributions demonstrate the power of putting faith into action and show what we can accomplish when we work together to serve our local community!
